SPECIFIC PLANS OF ACTION
Building Dragons
1.) Social Sciences Website - This website will cater the concerns and queries of students, announcements in the cluster and will be the backbone of the Social Sciences cluster. With the SAMAHAN Secretary-General, we will maximize the tutorial videos in the online platform and will be made available in the Social Sciences Website.
2.) The Dragon’s Discourse - With the help of faculty members and SS Administration, a monthly open conversation will transpire between SEC Officers and Faculty Members about the concerns of the students.
Empowering Dragons
1.) The Dragon’s Flame- This plan of action will center on the academic readings of each courses. With the help of the Social Sciences Faculty Department, we will ask for their own respective Online Instructional Delivery Plan and their respective reading materials in order for students to access these said reading materials conveniently.
2.) The Dragon’s Den- a series of coping episodes that help students in this online platform. This will be in the form of informative programs that gather the experiences of different students in the online platform and how these said students overcome these struggles. (StRAW Team)
Amplifying Dragons
1.) Dragon’s Bootcamp - In collaboration with the different Academic Clubs, the SEC will hold a series of advocacy events that caters the respective social issues in each course. Each course will have the opportunity to engage in these webinars and with different speakers/experts.
2.) Social Sciences Elections 2022 Educational Summit - a regional open forum that centers around the running candidates before the actual elections. SS SEC in collaboration with Academic Clubs inside the cluster, this will help educate voters about the respective running candidates.
