M – MADECONNECT: Maximizing devices and connections.
As we enter another year, maintaining the dream of no student gets left behind, through the platform MADECONNECT, we will continue to fight for equitable internet access amongst our students. We will purchase more devices such as tablet and HPWs to create a more accessible and wider reach of quality education. These will be made possible by the help and collaborative effort of the Finance, UCEAC, and other institutions. We begin again together, as one.
A – ADDU-to-cart: the Ateneo Business Channel.
In the new normal, we have set forth new boundaries for our quarantine fuzz. ADDU-TO-CART is the perfect platform to get equally best and worth it deals for all our hobbies and wants. Through the utilization of the SAMAHAN website, another section will be created for our online food and shopping powered by Atenean sellers! By that, Atenean sellers will have a free avenue to advertise and promote their respective businesses. Not just that, but we will also create programs and plans for empowering your business minds through webinars, tutorials, and trainings from experts. We begin again together, happily.
R – REVERSE: OST Financial Assistance.
We will give back to the community and reach those who need help by having three distinct forms of financial aids.
First, Subsidy, where the qualified student will be receiving approximately P5000 deduction to their balances OR avail the “rent a book” where the student could request for a specific book that he/she could borrow for the whole academic year.
Next is Connectivity — through this, students can request for an amount of load for their data connections.
Lastly, for Research, the SAMAHAN will provide funding for innovative and relevant student research projects.
It is only rightful to give back to the students, not just because they deserve it, but because they need it. These mainly focus on hearing and acknowledging the true need of the Ateneans, especially in these trying times. We begin again together, with a heart.
S – Sabi ng OST
On many years, it has always been a challenge on keeping the students up to date about their money banked in SAMAHAN. But this year, we will launch the platform SABI NG OST a real time budget update, displayed live in the SAMAHAN website. It will project expenses and current standing of the budget. Along with all the events, we will also competently use this platform to work more effectively and promote transparency for the Ateneans. We begin again together, with integrity.
